We spent one day at the Gulf Haven RV park. The park was not much pads were gravel and not very level, we had power issues right off the bat and I was afraid to leave Cooper while we went to the beach for fear the power would kick off.Monday we were able to get a spot at Keesler AFB FAM Camp. The FAM Camp is real nice stuck back always from things and good concrete pads and nice quiet people. The beach is only about two blocks away and they are nicer than the one at Gulf Haven. Tuesday I metal detected at the beach and was able to come up with $3.35 in change, among that was a nickel dated 1949 and a Silver Dime dated 1967, I thought they were good finds. We have been spending the evenings out and about in the Biloxi area. Casinos and just the sights. This morning I built a sand sifter for my detecting collections and we went to a different beach area, I was only able to come up with $1.38 in change and no real good finds so far. Thinking about going back this evening after things cool down a-bit. We stopped by a shop and bought a beach umbrella and a nice hat for Donna. Got a call from some friends of ours Dale & Donna. They are thinking about heading to Colorado to the mountains and doing so jeep riding there, and have asked us to go along with them. That is a real sweet deal we are in the thinking process about it at this time... Till then??????????
