Happy 4th of July!!!!

Started out pretty hot. We decided the we would take a driving tour today, so off we went. The beaches were packed with people and canapes of every description, along with BQ Grills and Sound systems, the party had started by 10:00am. First stop was at the dock in Biloxi to check out the boats and just walk around. Cooper was with us so we stayed close to the truck, due to the heat. We saw lots of different types of boats and people. We headed on to the east on Hwy 90 going to check out the Gulf Islands National Seashore. The park at the GINS was a pretty nice park with lots of day use area and camping along with a real nice fishing dock and boat launch. We watched some people crabbing and Donna saw a small crab under the walkway and thought it was a big spider attacking something. Check out the pictures. The rain started as we were at the park and we decided to head back to the house. The wind was real strong and was getting stronger as the afternoon continued. As we passed the beaches again it was almost comical watching the shade covers and all blowing over and around. We made it home and the thunder storms hit and it rained hard for about 2 hours. It was great because the temp. dropped between 22-26 degrees and that was wonderful. After the rain I started the old grill and Donna fixed the fixings for our T-Bone steaks. We had a delicious meal and then took Cooper for a walk.
